Know what you're seeing.
A quick guide to the sample dashboard and the clinical workflow it represents.
Workspace guide
The dashboard, explained.
Reading the dashboard
Active shows reports received in the last 30 minutes. Other time windows show all calls received within the selected number of hours, including incoming patients and patients without an ETA. Grid and list views contain the same patients.
Connection versus report status
Radio online means a source is connected. Receiving report means audio is being received. Processing or delayed reports may still have missing details — a connected source doesn't guarantee that patient data is current.
Expected arrival is an estimate
The progress bar reflects the reported ETA. “ETA reached” means the estimate has elapsed, not that arrival has been confirmed.
Reviewing the original report
Open the Medic Transcript and select a line to jump the audio player to it. The sample dashboard has no recording attached.
Reported, estimated and missing values
Values the medic reported are shown as reported. Anything estimated from context is labeled as an estimate, and numbers and vital signs are never estimated. Missing values show as missing.
Editing patient information
Select patient details or a vital sign to open an editor. Read-only users can't edit demographics, vitals or notes. Changes in the sample dashboard stay on the page and reset when you reload.
Signing in to your organization's workspace
Use Existing user login. ED staff continue with Microsoft or their hospital's SSO; Access Point computers sign in with a username, password and authenticator code. Your organization's administrators approve and manage access.
